Strumento tradizionale della musica latina costituito da due tamburi in acciaio di diverso diametro e senza pelle risonante, le timbales possono essere utilizzate da sole o in aggiunta a drumkit. Il set Peace TB-2-1 è costituito da due fusti in ottone che offrono un suono più caldo rispetto all'acciaio.
